Who is New England Stone Lifting?
NESL is a collective of people building the future history of Stone Lifting in America. We take cues from the traditions of Stone Lifting around the world while creating something uniquely ours.
As far as we can tell, American Stone lifting doesn’t have the same rich history that we find in the rest of the world*. We see this as an opportunity, an opportunity to craft a culture that is respectful, inclusive, and based on community over competition, at the same time celebrating our individual accomplishments, and making each other stronger. Check out our curated collection of lifting stones around New England we’re adding more all the time.
Intolerance is not tolerated, and community is the goal. We get stronger to lift each other up, not tear each other down.
A collective always has more power than an individual. We invite you to come lift with us. Or find some stones and build your own circuits and we’ll come to you! We can’t wait to see what you come up with and look forward to supporting you, just as you’ve supported us.
